What Is LifeOS?
LifeOS is a unified personal productivity workspace that brings your planner, calendar, finances, habits, goals, memories, and voice assistant into one secure dashboard. It is designed for people who want a single, calm command center for how they plan, track, and reflect on their day.
Core Modules
- Planner & Tasks: Priority tasks, recurring routines, reminders with audio alerts, and AI-assisted scheduling.
- Calendar: Full event matrix with create, move, and voice-controlled schedule queries.
- Finance: Income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, and spoken finance summaries.
- Habits & Goals: Daily habit streaks and milestone progress tracking.
- Memories: Journey diary with media attachments and a PIN-protected Hidden Vault.
- Voice Assistant: "Hey LifeOS" wake word, natural-language commands, and optional Ask LifeOS external AI replies (DeepSeek/Gemini when configured and enabled in your privacy settings).
- Voice Library: Named recordings for reminders, alarms, and assistant responses.
- Cloud Sync Foundation: Export, import, and backup tooling for offline-safe data portability.
Design Philosophy
LifeOS uses a dark cyber aesthetic optimized for focus, with light-theme support, customizable wallpapers, and multilingual UI (English, Hindi, Marathi). The interface is responsive for desktop and mobile browsers, including installable PWA support.
Security First
Every module enforces per-user data isolation, CSRF protection on mutating requests, hashed vault PINs, and session lifetime controls. Hidden content never bypasses vault authentication.
Who Built It?
LifeOS is designed and maintained independently. It is built with Python Flask, PostgreSQL in production, and modern web standards—no heavy client framework required. See Credits for acknowledgments.
